And Spain is through to the finals!!

Yep, Spain has won Russia 3-0 in regulation time and are through to the finals to play Germany! And i win five dollars as well! :) Nothing to Andrei Arshavin's name, one goal by Xavi Hernandez, one by Daniel Guiza and another by David Silva. Andres Iniesta had one assist and Cesc Fabregas had two.

Hahaha what did i say just a short while ago man...why should anyone care about Arshavin when there is FABREGAS??? Ghahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...XDXDXDXD

Hahaha i'm posting again after just a few hours...

Oh my goodness, it's only been around 2 hours since i posted my last blog entry, and you know what i've been doing that whole time? READING MY OLD BLOG ENTRIES. Seriously. I don't know why, but i just suddenly had this urge to go back and look through the stuff i had typed in the past.

And you know what? I used to be goddamnmotherf*ckin funny! I was laughing with my hand over my mouth just a while ago because i didn't want to wake the rest of my family up. A few years ago, i was capable of that sort of bitchy, sarcastic, cynical and utterly CRAZY humour that some comics can only dream of; the Terry-Pratchett's-first-few-releases/South Park kind where jokes are flung out all over the place with wild abandon. What's happened to my wacky sense of humour these days, i wonder?

Withdrawal symptoms?

Urgh. I'm been feeling really stoned at home these days. I wonder why...could it be withdrawal symptoms after law camp was over or something? After the whole shitty army experience, i always thought that a loner's life fit me perfectly; just show up for lectures and do well for exams, and i'd be perfectly satisfied with my university life. I was turning into an uber-introvert, and i couldn't care less.

But i suppose the whole camp experience has given me a sensation of what i've been missing for the past 2 years. It's changed me, just a little, to the point where i can't be satisfied with staying at home all day and spending hours in front of the computer.

...I kinda view this sort of change as rather harmful, especially when i started this year believing that i'd be able to focus my attention completely on my studies. So i'd better make sure that things don't go out of hand.

Oh and by the way, good luck to Spain for the match against Russia coming up later on! Who cares about this Andrei Arshavin anyway when you've bloody got CESC FABREGAS??! Although he probably won't play from the start. Sigh. Anyway, i don't actually support the Spanish football team, but i've got a five dollar bet against my dad resting on tonight's match, so don't let me down, Spain!!! X)

Back from law camp.

Okay, i'm back from law camp! Came home at like 4am in the morning with loads of heavy baggage, aching muscles and a bad sore throat, and went to sleep right after taking a shower. Well...camp was fun. Really appreciate all the time and the work the seniors put in to make it such a success. I made quite a significant number of friends too! But to non-law camp related acquaintances: no, i did not get a girlfriend while at camp. Lol okay why the hell am i typing something like this here...-.-

Anyway i actually typed a draft for this post on Notepad in the afternoon because my internet was down. As always. Later, the modem went bust and i nudged the computer power cable loose while fiddling with the LAN cables, so all my work was deleted in the end. Damn. So, i'm now posting using another person's internet access. Thanks Sandra! :)

Sigh i'm thinking of writing a complaint to Starhub now. Before the modem went bust (and we just had it replaced less than a month ago), the internet kept going on and off anyway. And now, i'm going to have to pay Starhub $33.33 to get it replaced. Furthermore, i signed up for Flexisurf from Starhub this afternoon to use the internet using my old modem, but i was still restricted to partner websites - meaning Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, and a few more insignificant websites - even after paying cash out of my own bank account! >.<

Like seriously wtf. I was quite anxious because i only had 3hrs with which to do my websurfing and the clock was ticking. So i called Starhub multiple times and asked them REALLY NICELY how to solve this problem, and every time i did, i was pushed aside with a little PR thrown at my face. "We'll definitely check back with you soon", "Don't worry, your 3 hours will be reset after the problem is solved; otherwise it'll be very unfair to you", etc, etc. Well, it's been over 7 hours since i last called them, and i highly suspect they've forgotten about me. Even if they do remember tomorrow, the modem guy would have arrived by then and i wouldn't need the service anymore. And of course i won't get any refund. So f*cking irritating. Lol not to mention that i just lost $20 in a bet against my dad; that's nearly $60 drained within a day for no good reason whatsoever. Ahwell. :\

Anyway, i'm feeling rather crappy at the moment, so i'm going to go offline and get myself a nice, cool, non-alcoholic drink. Lol it's time to drown my sorrows.

Peaceful and Uneventful.

Man...i haven't posted in a while...don't have much to post about anyway. Nothing really new and interesting is happening in my life...and i don't want anything new and interesting to happen in my life, either.

Well, i watched Narnia: Prince Caspian a few days ago, and well...it's better than i thought it would be. Not because it was actually GOOD, but because i had such low expectations of the movie after the rather unimpressive first installment. I don't have much else to say about it; i'm not going to waste my time bitching about it. Bottomline: it won't kill you to watch the show, and you might just find the jokes funny, but don't watch it if you don't have to.

Anyway, i've been spending my time catching up on anime (Latest recommendation is BAMBOO BLADE! Go check it out people; it's VERY funny! :)). And catching up on sleep as well. I've also been doing less repetitions but adding more weight on everything whenever i exercise and i've been forcing myself to eat a bit more than i'm used to. And i think the result really shows. In a good way, that is. XD

Apart from all that, i'm just trying to keep my life as peaceful and uneventful as possible without letting it get too boring. And eventually, i'm going to have to take my studying of economics and the japanese language a little more seriously. Tomorrow evening, i shall also finally resume one of my inital baking challenges: french croissants!

...that's unless i chicken out at the last minute like i normally do. :x

Urgh, what a horrible mess i made.

Note to self: next time, if you really REALLY need to make dough on a flat surface like a chopping board or whatever instead of using a mixing bowl, do make sure the "hole" in your mound of flour is sufficient and take the necessary precautions, lest the milk/yeast/sugar mixture with a bit of the flour overflows onto the table and spills onto the floor, creating one of the biggest messes you'll ever see in your entire life... 0_o

And the worst cleaning job i've ever had to do too. It really sucks when there's a big mess in a place that's supposed to be spotlessly clean, like the dining area. The mop wasn't enough; i used up a whole roll of towel paper, turned two table cloths into semi-rags...and i had to soap the entire area and get on my hands and knees to scrape all the sticky, solidified flour bits off the floor. Horrifying. There're few things more depressing than spending an hour cleaning up a mess in the house that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Anyway, i completed my internship last week. Erm...i would've liked to write more about it but i'm not really in the mood to.

Oh by the way, if you're a fan of cyberpunk anime, you should really give Denno Coil a try; it rocks! It's currently no. 2 on my all time favourites' list...'nuff said! :D
