I've moved.
Sigh...what a crappy weekend. Spent most of yesterday and today moving almost all of my remaining stuff from the old home to the new one, and after my driving lessons (which i've just completed), i've got about 45 minutes to eat and change before booking in to camp tonight (by 8pm!!) for a 21km run early tomorrow morning.

And then, while almost the whole army gets a day off on monday, i'll have to go back to camp on sunday night because everyone's just so busy with the upcoming Army Open House. Sucks sia...but oh well...ORD loh! :|

Anyway, i've moved house. If you want to know where, well it's somewhere PRETTY NEAR my old home...but i'm not writing it here in case...in case there're people whom i'd rather NOT know where i live lol. The home's still a little far from perfect though...just a few niggling problems like a computer table with an unstable keyboard tray where typing is rather uncomfortable...bloody lousy power sockets in my table where i can't even fit any plugs in...a lack of furniture (still!) in my room...and of course the lack of a connected toilet to my room (not that i expected that to ever have a solution).

Ohwell...no home's perfect i guess. I'm quite sad to leave my old home though...sad to leave my old room, the one i've been living in for the past 18 or so years. Being the little introverted home-body that i am, i've spent most of my life alone in my room, and there're quite a lot of memories there. So i was rather disappointed to hear that the bed from my old room had already been moved over when i got back home on friday, that i would not have the chance to sleep there for one last time...

Anyway, i've finally officially moved over...and that means that my house-warming party (for friends only) will be coming soon!! There's still a lack of entertainment in the house though...i've got a PS2 and a soccer table, and lots of mahjong lol. And i've got loads of TVs! But everyone knows that it's the available content that makes a TV, not the, erm, megapixels and hi-defs.

So i'm thinking of getting a POOL TABLE. Anyone got any, err..lobang? And i'll need to go shopping for drinks too. And then i'm planning to invite house comm people, OG friends, VJ classmates, and army people (pending lol). But i don't know how everyone'll mix together! Like what if they get all separated into the groups that i've just described them in.

Well...WHO'S INTERESTED?? In coming down to my party that is...i need to know a rough attendance gauge. If you want to know where's my new place as well, give me a call or sms me at 98786035! No stalkers allowed thank you! Unless you're some err hot girl or something.

Well..need to book in soon so gotta go! Damn...what a crappy weekend...:\

Wooo..i'm so busy with non-work related matters..
Yikes, i've been playing that PS2 a LOT. It must be, like, the BEST console ever lol. Final Fantasy X is extremely fun (although the fighting is a bit dreary...blitzball's worth it though) and there're quite a lot of party games out there as well.

But apart from games, i've resumed my driving lessons this week and it'll be for an hour and a half at 4.30pm on saturdays till..well..till i PASS lah *sigh*. =\

And then...i've signed up for a MANGA DRAWING COURSE as well! Hahaha...it's over at Simei, and i'll be going with Diana and Jaclyn for 2 hours every Sunday at 1.30pm. Looks like i'll need it anyway...after clearing up almost all of my manga storyline's consistencies and anything that can be seen as VERY unoriginal, i've discovered that i need at least a bit MORE skill than i currently have to finish the storyboard. Even though i'm not the actual artist, some good drawing skills are still needed for, well, self-motivation, and to clearly show how each scene looks in my mind's eye.

So my weekends are going to be packed...how am i going to finish Final Fantasy X like this?? Hahaha...and after that, i still need to clear FF9 and FF12, and Kingdom Hearts and Odin Sphere and Disgaea and...

Well, i don't have much time left. Between getting a job after ORD and studying before my course starts - just like a lot of fellow Law students - just to stay in the MIDDLE of the rat-race, i've also got manga-drawing, anime-watching and clearing all my unfinished business with the PS2. For this reason, i'm quite glad that i've quit Warcraft and DotA. I'm also starting to feel relieved that i currently don't have a girlfried too...erps! Whoops...this is quite a troubling turn of events... 0_o

Anyway, i got dragged off to watch the Bourne Ultimatum with my family on friday, and my dad was rather..erm.."kid-like" in the way he addressed my unwillingness to watch the show...

Dad: "So Greg, do you want to go watch the Bourne movie?"

Greg: "Err...to be honest, i really DON'T want to, but haiyah, if you really want to watch it, then i anything lor..."

Dad: "Okay then!"

And then we all went to the cinemas to watch it. :|

Honestly, that's almost like...

Boy: "Mummy, can you buy this latest toy for me?"

Mother: "*Sigh* Ah-boy ah, we got very little money left you know...but if you really want it so badly then i'll get it for you lor..."

Boy: "Okay then! Please buy for me, thank you!!" :|

But credit to my dad, the movie was actually pretty good! Lots of gripping action scenes and all that, although the storyline isn't exactly that great when you stop to think about it after the show.

Before i end..just a personal update...i was one day late in wishing 3 people Happy Birthday this weekend! 0.0 Jane and Ivy's bday on Aug 13, and Celine's on Aug 18. My birthday list is not yet complete, but i've realised that even if it was finished, i'd STILL forget people's birthdays, because i just don't refer to the birthday list enough! Sigh...so it didn't work in the end huh...:( Well, at least i won't forget those birthdays for GOOD anymore.

In any case..it's now 10.30pm!! I've got to hurry and change because it's book-in time! Ahhh..i'm gonna be late!!

I bought a playstation....tWo...
Yesterday, i bought a PS...2! 0_o I was deciding between getting a PS2 now and a PS3 a few more years down the road, or simply getting a PS3 now and playing *er hem*origi*er hem* games, but i finally decided on the former move, because i found out that Asian PS3s can only play JAP PS2 games a.k.a. NTSC/J Format...in other words, my FFX and FFXII would be in JAPANESE!!

So i could either get a PS2 now and play all the RPGs that i've wanted to play but could not, as well as do other *er hem* things to save money, OR i could buy a PS3 now and get stuck with Resistance: Fall of Man for dunno-how-long, until the PS3 is able to get modded to play NTSC/US PS2 games, which might NEVER happen. (No offence to the game Resistance by the way, it's not that it's bad, in fact it's on of the few games i'd buy now if i owned a Playstation 3)

So now i'm FINALLY a proud owner of a Playstation!!! Yaay...dunno why, but i had this thing against Playstations in the past and ended up buying Sega Saturns and N64s...then i was onto PC games during the Gamecube-PS2-Dreamcast era. No one in my maternal extended family owns a Playstation of any sort too; all of them got bloody XBOXes for dunno-what-reason. Well, if you're a friend of mine AND own a Playstation AND i know about it...be prepared to get called on to *er hem* help your friend out!! :D

Anyway, camp's totally driving me nuts! Since we've had people stealing army laptops and plugging in illegal thumbdrives and spreading viruses over the army intranet (and all getting CAUGHT doing so, i'd like to mention..), we've had quite a major crackdown going on, which'll probably last till my ORD. No burnt CDs, DVDs, camera phones, and computer storage devices allowed into camp - perpetrators shall be extremely frighteningly severely dealt with! So no more bringing my DVD player and anime CDs into camp. Ahh...i'm gonna die of boredom!!

I'm still bringing my iPod into camp though, on account of one of my senior commanders saying "No iPods with USB cable" - so iPod WITHOUT USB cable can right? Right? Hey, it's not as if i bring these into camp to compromise camp security, although to the higher-ups, promising only to use burnt DVDs which are potentially virus-laden on my DVD player (and not on camp computers) is the same as bringing thumbdrives into camp and promising not to bring it anywhere near the army computers.. (ok, i just talked a whole lot of rubbish right...lol but i'm too lazy to edit it :|)

Anyway, i just found out from some peers that my Playstation 2 with original games (like my ORIGINAL Final Fantasy X) is most likely allowed in camp!! Man..what should i do..:)

Ahhh...dead blog...
Yeah, well...seems like my blog's dying...no posts from me in a while and no one tagging for even longer.

It's kinda like how my life is like at the moment...i'm very detached from the world right now, more so than ever, probably due to counting down the days to ORD and stuff like that, moving house and all, and having super loner hobbies like watching anime, sketching manga and reading law introduction books.

So it's quite understandable that i'm not exactly popping up on people's minds at the moment, although the amount of sneezing i've done over the past 4 weeks certainly doesn't reflect that...0.0
