I bought a playstation....tWo...
Yesterday, i bought a PS...2! 0_o I was deciding between getting a PS2 now and a PS3 a few more years down the road, or simply getting a PS3 now and playing *er hem*origi*er hem* games, but i finally decided on the former move, because i found out that Asian PS3s can only play JAP PS2 games a.k.a. NTSC/J Format...in other words, my FFX and FFXII would be in JAPANESE!!

So i could either get a PS2 now and play all the RPGs that i've wanted to play but could not, as well as do other *er hem* things to save money, OR i could buy a PS3 now and get stuck with Resistance: Fall of Man for dunno-how-long, until the PS3 is able to get modded to play NTSC/US PS2 games, which might NEVER happen. (No offence to the game Resistance by the way, it's not that it's bad, in fact it's on of the few games i'd buy now if i owned a Playstation 3)

So now i'm FINALLY a proud owner of a Playstation!!! Yaay...dunno why, but i had this thing against Playstations in the past and ended up buying Sega Saturns and N64s...then i was onto PC games during the Gamecube-PS2-Dreamcast era. No one in my maternal extended family owns a Playstation of any sort too; all of them got bloody XBOXes for dunno-what-reason. Well, if you're a friend of mine AND own a Playstation AND i know about it...be prepared to get called on to *er hem* help your friend out!! :D

Anyway, camp's totally driving me nuts! Since we've had people stealing army laptops and plugging in illegal thumbdrives and spreading viruses over the army intranet (and all getting CAUGHT doing so, i'd like to mention..), we've had quite a major crackdown going on, which'll probably last till my ORD. No burnt CDs, DVDs, camera phones, and computer storage devices allowed into camp - perpetrators shall be extremely frighteningly severely dealt with! So no more bringing my DVD player and anime CDs into camp. Ahh...i'm gonna die of boredom!!

I'm still bringing my iPod into camp though, on account of one of my senior commanders saying "No iPods with USB cable" - so iPod WITHOUT USB cable can right? Right? Hey, it's not as if i bring these into camp to compromise camp security, although to the higher-ups, promising only to use burnt DVDs which are potentially virus-laden on my DVD player (and not on camp computers) is the same as bringing thumbdrives into camp and promising not to bring it anywhere near the army computers.. (ok, i just talked a whole lot of rubbish right...lol but i'm too lazy to edit it :|)

Anyway, i just found out from some peers that my Playstation 2 with original games (like my ORIGINAL Final Fantasy X) is most likely allowed in camp!! Man..what should i do..:)
