Damn, i watched "I Love You Man" recently, and i kinda realise that i'm quite a lot like the main character! Like i have some good guy friends, but i don't call or hang out with any of them very very regularly (i.e. at least once a week), except for proximity friends like my university schoolmates. And my best friends are probably Coco...and my mum. :| Quite a lot like the main character. Ohwell. But at least i don't say weird things like he does, and i'm definitely not a prude as well.
Anyway, Rag 09 has been going smoothly...well, sorta. It's more like sea waves; the waves go smoothly in one direction, but there're still a lot of ups and downs. :\ The experience has taught me a lot, though...for example, i have now borrowed a lorry, driven a lorry, and i've become a lot more thick-skinned than i used to be. Like i'm now more able to ask people direct questions when i have issues, without over-worrying that the other person might get mad or feel offended. If i couldn't do that, i couldn't do my job properly at all. There's nothing like a little necessity to aid in self-improvement. XD
Oh yeah, and big news: MY SISTER GOT MARRIED ON SATURDAY. Oh my, time really flies. The wedding was yesterday, and like a typical hokkien wedding, there was the "house-breaking" in the morning and the wedding dinner at night, with the YAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHM SENNGG and all that stuff. I was the MC of the night, along with my new sister-in law (i.e. my sister's husband's sister). Think i did OK...kinda disappointed with the singing though (yes, i had to perform a duet and a solo), and i wish i had practised a little bit more so that i didn't need to refer to my script as much as i did. Crap, someone even told my dad that i look better than i sang! He told me that it was meant to be a compliment, but i'm not too sure. Aaaahhhhh...apparently i should have picked a song which allows me to sing at a higher note, or at least push my own song up 1 key.
Oh, and there's currently a lot of issues that i probably shouldn't mention...ahwell, occasionally i do think our family's a little bit too generous, but it's this one quality (and a few more) that makes my family better than most.
Okay, time to go to bed...i'm waking up early later on to shoot some hoops and go to the gym before the Rag session starts!
PS: Persona 4 was AWESOME. Crisis Core was good too (LOL, i haven't posted for so long that i've forgotten whether i've already endorsed the game or not.) Also, read the Eyeshield 21 and Vagabond manga if you haven't already!!! And one last thing...I DID NOT MANAGE TO GO TO THIS YEAR'S COSFEST...THE WEDDING TOOK UP THE WHOLE SATURDAY AND THEN I WOKE UP LATE ON SUNDAY AND HAD TO GO JAMMING, AND HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR DORINDA AFTER THAT...SIGH, ANIME HAS BECOME SUCH A LOW PRIORITY FOR ME THAT I DON'T DESERVE TO CALL MYSELF AN OTAKU ANYMORE...
...eh, not that it's a bad thing, right? Well...maybe.
