Sigh, it's a monday again. *Sighsighsigh*...I really detest mondays. Not exactly because of the whole new week of work that seems to stretch endlessly before me, but because i usually don't get a good night's sleep the day before. Urgh. Either i'd go to bed late, or i'd do it on time but would toss and turn in bed and end up sleeping late anyway. And, the worst thing is, i'd wake up EARLY, regardless. Like today, when i slept at 1.30am and still woke up at 6.30am, a whole hour before my alarm clock was scheduled to ring. *Sigh*...
Anyway, Manchester United has won the title. Damn. That sucked big time. I would rather Arsenal or Liverpool win. Or Chelsea, of course. Those Man U fans are gonna have a field day boasting about their EPL win, as if they haven't boasted enough already. Ahwell...Man U's a pretty popular club these days...popular with teenagers and children, popular with women, popular with other club coaches and even popular with referees.
Like Steve Bennett, for example. Well, i'm not saying that he had consciously leaned in favour of Man U when he gave that penalty yesterday or the ones before that or when he sent Javier Mascherano off when Liverpool played against them.
...I'm just saying that he did it UNconsciously. Okay lol whatever.
Oh but i'm not as forlorn and worn out as i sound...my mood's actually pretty damn decent at the moment. Because...i won at mahjong yesterday!! Ghahahaha!! >:D
Woots i haven't played for awhile, but just imagine: we were playing 20-40cents for 1
tai and i was losing around $10 by the end of
nan(2)
feng(1) i.e. the second round. We decided to stop playing and continue the next 2 rounds the next day, and when we were on
xi(1)
feng(1) i.e. the third round i somehow managed to lose a large number of times till i nearly reached a $20 loss. which's really BIG, if you consider the odds we were playing. In fact, i was like the sole loser at that point, i believe.
But then when it was at the last game of
xi(1)
feng(1) where i was the dealer, i suddenly embarked on this winning run that started small but later grew significantly - 2
tai, 2
tai, 3
tai, 4
tai and 3
tai, with a couple of wins drawn on my own - and then during the
bei(3)
feng(1) i.e. the last round, i won 4
tai twice with one drawn on my own. And suddenly, i became the sole winner of the whole game with a freakin $16 profit like what the hell.
So now i've got some spare change! Ghahaha reminds me of the days in army last year when i didn't withdraw cash from my bank account for a few months because my pocket money was supplemented COMPLETELY by mahjong earnings. Lol not that $16 can even support a single week of expenditure at my workplace. And i'm not saying that you should be trying it yourself, of course...
...I mean, you'd need to have some kind of godly TALENT at mahjong to pull that off, you know...LOL ok sorry people i was just kidding hahaha! >:D
