Let today be known as the day that I finally raised an Airdramon. Yes, i'm talking about that Airdramon in version 1 of the Digimon virtual pets (a.k.a. the Tamagotchi for boys). Coco's the one who got me into it though XD, she's playing with my Tamagotchi right now!
Lol i'm such a old-school game lover; besides newer stuff like Dragon Age, Risen, Mass Effect, Persona 4, Bleach: Blade Battlers 2nd, DOTA, and Crisis Core - which a lot of gamers would consider to be OLD GAMES - i've been playing REALLY OLD games over the past few years. Old meaning Mechwarrior 2 Merceneries, Final Fantasy IV, Pokemon (Yellow), and old arcade games like Puzzle Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. Recently i've started playing one of the oldest games I have ever known, and which i have yet to complete after all this time - it's kinda like unfinished business for me. I've stopped playing until the exams are over though, so I will finally finish it in December lol.
I replay old games because the new games that are out are mostly real-time-strategy or first-person shooters...those are too stressful to play! And they don't give too much freedom to explore the world and feel immersed in the story and the environments. The only immersion is done through good graphics and the regular, back-stabbing-conspiracy storyline. Whatever happened to imagination?
I don't play MMORPGs like WoW either. No time. See? I have some self-control after all.
Anyway, talk about no time, i better go sleep. Bloody Personal Property Law essay is killing me, although i think my flu might kill me first - i have an infected throat and my nose is completely blocked and dripping like mad! Urgh...i feel so shitty. And it's both the flu and law school's fault.
